本發明之實施例提供了一種具可延展性的影像多點廣播機制，藉著考慮每個頻寬單位可產生的網路產能排定影像服務提供基地台和每個轉發站所需利用的資料傳輸率調變機制及其所需傳送的資料傳輸率來滿足消費者端所需求的資料傳輸率，使網路產能可以在有限的頻寬下達到最大化。 A scalable video multicast method in WiMAX networks is provided in the embodiments of the present invention. The method arranges data transmitting mechanism and data taransmitting rates for a base station and at least a relay station according to network productivity of each band unit to satisify demands of subscriber stations so as to maximize the network productivity within limited band width.
