技術說明

一種摩擦攪拌熔接工具，係包含：一圓柱體及一熔接攪拌頭；該熔接攪拌頭設置於該圓柱體之一端面，且與該圓柱體一起加工成形；該熔接攪拌頭係為一球冠體，且該球冠體之底部直徑d等於該圓柱體之直徑；該球冠體之高度h係為熔接時該熔接攪拌頭相對於一金屬工件之表面垂直陷入的深度；該球冠體之之曲率半徑R符合下列公式： R = (4h²+d²)/8h 藉由具有曲率半徑R之熔接攪拌頭，可以提升對材料的攪拌及推擠作用，並可穩定沿任意方向運行。 A friction stir welding tool consists of a cylinder and a stir head; This stir head is located at one of the end face of the cylinder, and it is manufactured with the cylinder together; This stir head is a spherical crown-shaped body with the diameter d at the base, which is the same as the diameter of the cylinder; the height h of this spherical crown-shaped body is the plunged depth between the base of stir head and the surface of work-piece during a friction stir welding process; The curvature radius R of this spherical crown-shaped body must meet the following equation: R = (4h²+d²)/8h.
