三頻微帶濾波器

本專利為透過單一的濾波器電路提供3個商用的無線通訊頻帶。最基本的電路單元是具三種阻抗之步階式阻抗共振器,根據任意指定的3個共振頻率,步階式阻抗共振器所需的3種特徵阻抗可由本專利所提出的一組非常簡潔的計算公式來決定。電路設計上將濾波器的輸入與輸出的傳輸線延伸形成一個附加的訊號耦合路徑,由此附加的路徑所耦合的訊號可與由共振器所耦合的訊號在3個通帶兩旁互相抵消,而形成通帶兩旁的傳輸零點,使得通帶邊緣的頻率響應較尖銳、通帶特性佳。依此設計理念,本專利案所實現的濾波器其量測結果與模擬結果相當吻合。 A new tri-band microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) is designed to produce three passbands at the commercially practical frequencies through a single piece of filter circuitry. The basic component used to build the proposed filter is a tri-section stepped-impedance resonator (TSSIR), which consists of possibly three different characteristic impedances. For any given three resonant frequencies, the three characteristic impedances can be determined using a set of simple formulas proposed in this patent. A cross-coupled configuration was arranged in the circuit design to produce a pair of zeros at the upper and lower edges of each of the passband for sharpening the passband skirts, and thus improving the passband characteristic. The newly designed tri-band BPF was verified by circuit implementation and very good agreement between the simulated and measured results was observed.
