技術說明

本發明首先提出一個two-phase 的string-matching作法，其係依據AC-algorithm，其中包括NFA 及 DFA 兩個部分。處理的packet 在first phase先使用NFA作法進行過濾。通常，在first phase即可過濾出大部分的suspicious data。然而，過濾出來的suspicious data 可以再經second phase的 DFA作法做更進一步的確認。本發明接著提出multi-character multi-stage 架構來實現NFA portion。並且更提出一種可彈性設定的架構，藉以在應用上更具彈性。因而，此種所提出的可彈性設定的架構適合於設計成獨立的元件。 The device includes a two-phase string matching method which has two parts, NFA and DFA, and is based on the AC-algorithm. The first part can filter out the suspicious data and then confirmed by the second phase. We propose using the architecture of multi-character multi-stage to implement the NFA part. The architecture is flexible in data width configurations.
