技術說明

我們利用蛋白質體學技術找到一個胃癌的檢測分子14-3-3β。因為胃癌腫瘤標記在胃癌診斷上的敏感度及專一性都不高，所以我們提供一種檢測一胃癌早期檢測及預後程度的方法，其步驟包括：提供一生物樣品；檢測該生物樣品中14-3-3β含量；其中，該生物樣品中14-3-3β含量高於正常個體取得樣品之測定量，代表該胃癌之預後狀況不良。由於14-3-3β作為腫瘤標記具有較高的敏感度及準確性，因此更適於作為胃癌診斷上的工具。以14-3-3β作為血清學上的腫瘤標記，具有簡便、節省成本的優點，也適用於早期無徵狀患者的胃癌檢測，以及手術後之預後情況分析。 The 14-3-3β protein is used herein as a tumor marker for prognosis in gastric cancer. The method comprises steps of providing a biological sample, qualifying the 14-3-3β level in the sample, and comparing the 14-3-3β level in the sample with a normal sample. Upon the 14-3-3β level in the biological sample is higher than in the normal sample, which represents the patient providing the sample has a poor prognosis. Having the higher sensitivity and specificity, 14-3-3β can be used as a tumor marker for prognosis in gastric cancer.
