關鍵字：2,4-二甲氧基-6-甲基苯-1,3-二醇、葡萄球菌 目前臨床上主要用於對抗葡萄球菌屬物種的兩種抗生素(二甲氧基苯青黴素(methicillin)與萬古黴素(vancomycin))都會引發顯著生理副作用，且已有部分抗藥性菌株產生，故本團隊嘗試於從傳統中藥(traditional Chinese medicines, TCM)或植物中來尋找可有效抗生物膜的活性組分(active components)，發現牛樟芝萃取物2,4-二甲氧基-6-甲基苯-1,3-二醇(2,4-dimethoxy-6-methylbenzene-1,3-diol)可用於防止和/或抑制葡萄球菌屬物種(Staphylococcus spp.)的生長以及生物膜形成(biofilm formation)，可使用於治療和/或預防葡萄球菌屬物種的感染。 Keywords：2,4-dimethoxy-6-methylbenzene-1,3-diol、Staphylococcus spp Currently, the two antibiotics mainly used to against Staphylococcus species are methicillin and vancomycin. However, both of them cause significant physiological side effects, and some resistant strains have been found. Hence, we tried to find active components from traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) or plants that are effective against biofilms. We found that 2,4-dimethoxy-6-methylbenzene-1,3-diol can be used to prevent and/or inhibit the growth and biofilm formation of Staphylococcus spp. It can be used to treat and/or prevent infections of Staphylococcus spp.
