雷射光學式位置偵測模組

本發明關於一個由數種光電元件組合而成之可以進行物體位置偵側的光學系統,其中包含一主動元件提供空間上為高斯分佈之雷射脈衝,一相位延遲片轉換高斯分佈之雷射脈衝產生適合之雷射模態,例如:雷射漩渦光束(Vortex beam)或TEM01高斯模態,最後透過一被動光學元件將此雷射光束在一二維平面上展開,然後利用一偵測器陣列偵測此脈衝雷射光束的訊號,透過被物體阻斷之雷射光,便可得知此一物體在此二維平面上的位置。 本案另關於安裝此一位置偵測光學系統於一顯示器前,以達成準確偵測物體觸碰螢幕的位置,本發明案的特色為利用雷射為光源可以使得光束能量密度之衰減緩慢,因此在大尺寸螢幕上本光學系統仍然可以應用。 The present invention is associated with an optical sensing system to detect the position and motion of objects within a predefined regime. It consists of a pulsed laser, a set of beam manipulation-transformation phase masks and a detector array to sense the change in optical power so the position and motion of an object can be deduced. The optical manipulation-transformation system include a phase mask, which convert the fundamental Gaussian beam into a designate mode, some imaging lenses and a cone reflecting device which expand the optical beam uniformly in the radial direction across a 2D detecting plane. This invention is also related to install a position-motion sensing system in front of a LCD display to implement a very precise touch panel. It also features that adopting optical vortex beam, the scattering loss due to the central regime of cone reflecting device can be minimal. As a result, the invention is particularly advantageous to implement with large-area LCDs.
