技術說明

組織工程的目的在於使用人造生物支架的方法解決人體組織移植和修復等問題。目前市面上組織工程用支架的積層製造系統大多將生醫材料以擠製沉積的方式進行支架製作。提供的擠製溫度可分為高溫(約50到250°C)以及低溫(約2到50°C)等兩個溫度區間。然而某些材料在高溫擠製固化後會發生熱水解等變質現象，若在低溫擠製，常需用有機溶劑，而這些溶劑大多有毒。 本研發成果即為了有效解決上述問題，設計出一個非常均勻低溫的支架製作環境。與先前技術相比，本研發成果可以製作出更大且更高(超過20mm)的生物支架。 The basic principle to make scaffolds is extruding and depositing the bio-material and building up layer-by-layer in most commercial additive manufacturing systems for tissue engineering. However, some valuable bio-materials will be pyrohydrolysis in high temperature dispensing process. What if we proceed them in low dispensing process? They will need organic solvents to dissolve and most of these solvents are toxic. The proposed method was used to fabricate scaffolds in ultra-low temperature environment (-20 to -45°C) with uniform temperature distribution. With this technology, the bio-scaffold can be make larger and higher (more than 20 mm) than prior art.
