黃銅以其優良的金屬特性廣泛被應用於飲用水工業領域,然而,很多時候飲用水設備會處於較差的使用環境中,如水質含氯或溫度過高時,這些條件下普通黃銅材料往往會出現脫鋅腐蝕的情況,導致鑄件穿孔甚至是爆裂的情形,大幅降低使用壽命。針對上述這些問題,研發出此配方,能有效降低脫鋅腐蝕速度,又符合近年來飲用水法規對鉛溶出的限制,且仍保持傳統上切削黃銅材料的優點。 本技術採用AS2345澳大利亞標準試驗黃銅脫鋅腐蝕方法,研究了添加不同鈮含量對黃銅的顯微組織及黃銅的抗脫鋅腐蝕性能的影響。經結果,本發明的新型無鉛抗脫鋅黃銅材料可使脫鋅深度降為43μm,相較沒添加鈮元素配方的平均脫鋅深度為839μm,進而使抗脫鋅效能提高95%,且本配方中以對人體無害元素鈮代替傳統常添加在黃銅中的有毒鉛,而達到符合飲用水潔淨條件之規定,並且根據實驗結果,此合金配方也擁有高切削性能。 Brass was widely used in drinking water industry because its excellent metal features; however, drinking water equipment often used in the poor environment, such as chlorine water or high temperature, these conditions often make ordinary brass dezincification happened, leading casting perforate and even burst, dramatically reducing operating life. For these problems, we developed This technology uses the Australian Standard AS2345 brass dezincification test. The result shows that compared to formulations that didn’t add niobium element which dezincification depth is 839μm, these new lead-free dezincification-resistant brass materials can let dezincification depth down to 43μm and rise efficiency by 95%. Use elements niobium to replace the toxic lead added in brass, to meet our requirements of clean drinking water conditions, and according to the result, this formulation also has high cutting efficiency.
