技術說明

臨床上常因患者控制病情需要，需長時間維持人體內有效藥物濃度，因此每日皆進行注射或口服投藥以達成此目的，且大多小分子藥物多為疏水性，注射型製劑需混入對於生物體內有害之助溶劑如乙醇或二甲基亞碸，不僅提高患者使用的不便利，醫病之間的藥物及時間成本亦皆提高。據此，本申請技術係以溫感性胺基酸水膠搭配聚酯類高分子化合物作為藥物載體，經一次性注射後在該處形成穩固膠體，並能於體內維持有效藥物濃度一段時間以達到長效治療的效果。 We currently studied biodegradable polymers as a new drug carrier material can provide long-term release as well as maintain effective concentration in blood. Thermosensitive hydrogels are three-dimensional (3-D) networks exhibiting high water content and stable structural integrity. The hybrid copolymers are designed as a smart carrier to encapsulate hydrophobic drug and achieve high incorporated efficiency and controllable release. Knowledge gained from this study will provide insights into the feasibility of in vivo application of hydrogel-encapsulated hydrophobic drug as an efficient local drug delivery system. The potential advantages including lower drug administration frequency, higher local concentration to enhance functional recovery, as well as minimized systemic effects, show great potential in clinical application.
