技術說明

每年美國中西部所發生的龍捲風（tornado）均造成了極大的災害，仔細觀察龍捲風 的結構，我們可以發現龍捲風大致為漏斗形狀，近地面處直徑很小，但是旋轉之氣旋風 速極大，使得產生的真空吸力極高，故能將車子、房子等極重的物件向上吸入空中。另 外，眾所皆知的仿生學實為近代工程基礎之一，藉由模仿自然界中各種生物或自然現象 之結構、外型或原理等，可以達成最佳或較佳設計的目標。故本申請案計畫將以二年的 時間來研發一款全新仿龍捲風式（tornado-like）的真空產生器（vacuum generator）。傳 統真空產生器是利用文氏管原理，亦即利用強迫氣體通過節流口（一般為噴嘴）而產生 噴射流，再利用伯努力定律之推論，氣體高速流動將衍生氣體壓力降低的方式來產生真 空效應。這種傳統真空產生方式雖並無顯著缺點而廣為工程界客戶接受，但卻是行之有 年的古老技術。因此本計畫案將嘗試提出全新的真空效應產生原理，亦即將採仿效龍捲 風的結構來設計全新的真空產生器，其中以CFD 為設計基礎進行最適設計並以實作加以驗證。預期本案將能開發出全新概念且對業界有具體貢獻的次世代真空產生器。 In this proposal, therefore, a brand new structure to generate the vacuum effect is presented. The basic idea is to copy the geometry of a tornado. Such a novel design is totally different from the traditional vacuum generator which is based on the Bernoulli’s equation. In details, traditional vacuum generator utilizes a nozzle to produce the airflow jet. The pressure will significantly decrease if the airflow jet velocity increases. However, such a technique is quite old though it was still accepted by engineers. In this proposal, a two-year schedule is planned. In the propose, CFD-technology will be adopted to find the optimal or most suitable structure and dimension for the novel tornado-like vacuum generator. Finally, experimental studies will be conducted to verify the design. It is expected that such a novel tornado-like vacuum generator can be successfully developed and find some potential applications in the real industry.
