燃料電池之陽極氣體管理方法及系統

為提高燃料電池之氫氣利用率,燃料電池之陽極氣體管理模式通常為封閉式或循環式。這兩種模式中,皆需在出口端安裝一電磁閥。此電磁閥開啟策略會影響燃料電池之穩定性及壽命。本發明即為一種燃料電池之陽極氣體管理方法,以決定陽極出口端的電磁閥開啟時機。此方法是量測靠近陽極出口區域之局部電流,並將此局部電流對燃料電池之負載電流正規化做為特徵值。當此特徵值下降至一預設值時,即開啟陽極出口之電磁閥,以排除陽極內部之雜質。 In order to improve hydrogen utilization of a fuel cell, the anode of a fuel cell is usually operated in a dead-end or recirculation mode. In either mode, a normally-closed solenoid valve is installed at the anode outlet. The anode gas management strategy influences the stability and durability of the fuel cell. This invention provides a gas management strategy to determine when to open the solenoid valve. The local current of the active area near the anode outlet is monitored and normalized with respect to the load current as a characteristic value. When it drops to a predetermined value, the valve at the anode outlet is opened to purge impurities within the anode.
