The acceleration sensing unit is adapted to be disposed on a user, the fall behavior detection method comprising the following steps. First, the acceleration sensing unit generates an acceleration signal, the computing unit then captures a series of samples from the acceleration signal during a time window. The computing unit then generates the eigenvalues of the acceleration based on those signal samples. Finally, the computing unit uses a detection model associated with the time series to determine whether the acceleration eigenvalues correspond to the fall behavior of the user.
