技術說明

經皮藥物輸送是一種吸引人的給藥方式,其中又以微針(或是高分子微針)具有相當的發展潛力及廣大市場,其特點為藥物吸收不須經由消化系統、可精確輸送藥物劑量,減輕藥物的副作用、可無痛注射及對皮膚損害程度低。本技術是以抽氣過濾法製備高分子微針,藉由先製作頂部和底部可相通連的PDMS微針負向模具,將高分子溶液滴在模具上,再搭配使用適當孔徑的濾紙與過濾基板即可將高分子溶液有效地填充滿微針負向模具,同時可以移除大部分的水分,進而大幅度地縮短後續去水烘烤的時間,而脫模後之微針陣列即成型於濾紙上形成貼片。此技術相較於現行的離心填充法具有製程成本便宜、步驟簡單與製程時間大幅縮短等優勢,有助於相關微針貼片實物的商品化。 Transdermal drug delivery (TDD) is an attractive approach for releasing drugs into human body. Among them, the microneedles (MNs), especially the polymer MNs, show great potential and a large market. This is because utilization of microneedles for TDD offers numerous merits such as preventing drug degradation from first path metabolism through liver and digestion, precise dosage, minimizing the side effects, being painless and minimal skin damage. In this technique, the polymer MNs are fabricated by first making a negative PDMS micromold with through holes, dispensing the polymer solution, followed by vacuum filtration using the selected filter paper/membrane. Removal of water is subsequently carried out by drying on the hot plate. Compared to the commonly used centrifugation approach, this technique provides a robust, relatively cheaper and rapid method to fabricate bio-degradable MN array patch for potential mass manufacturing and commercialization.
