本發明有關一種強化下頦肌肉群之電刺激系統及方法，其包含：一電刺激單元，具有一第一電極與一第二電極，第一電極與第二電極貼附於一人體之一下頦部，電刺激單元用以產生一刺激電流，並經由第一電極與第二電極而將刺激電流輸出至下頦部，以電刺激人體之一下頦肌肉群；一回授電路，依據人體之一呼吸狀態與一參考訊號，產生一驅動訊號，且傳送驅動訊號至電刺激單元，以驅動電刺激單元電刺激下頦肌肉群。如此，本發明藉由電刺激人體之下頦肌肉群，以強化下頦肌肉群的肌肉強度與避免睡眠中發生呼吸中止的狀況。 An electrical stimulation system to enhance genioglossus muscle strength, a device that include the electrical stimulate unit which have first and second electrodes, attached to the human body's genioglossus, producing a stimulation electrical current. And a feed-back circuit depending on human's respiratory pattern and a reference electrode, producing a driving signal which can generate electrical stimulate unit to induced muscle groups constraction. Therefore, the electrical stimulation can induce human's genioglossus muscle constraction, increasing muscle strength and decreasing sleep apnea symdrome happened.
