技術說明

劉啟德老師的研究團隊從台灣霧峰山區所分離到的液態澱粉芽孢桿菌 Bacillus amyloliquefaciens WF02 潛力菌株可明顯降低受到青枯病菌感染之中等抗病品系番茄或是易感病品種番茄的死亡率，並能有效抑制病徵發展，而且降低土壤中的青枯病病原菌數量。此外WF02亦具有抑制果斑病的功效，而將適量濃度的咸豐草萃取物添加至WF02能進一步提昇抑制功效。咸豐草萃取物不僅可增加WF02生成生物膜的能力，也提高益生菌菌體活性。WF02具有生產表面素 (surfactin)、伊枯草菌素 (iturin)、豐原素(fengycin)等九種抗生物質的潛力。 Dr. Chi-Te Liu’s research group isolated B. amyloliquefaciens strain WF02 from the Wufeng Mountain soil in Taiwan. WF02 was demonstrated to protect the tomato suffering from bacterial wilt and to reduce the population of pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum in the soil. In addition, WF02 formulated with BP additive could also inhibit bacterial fruit blotch on melon. BP was found to enhance not only biofilm formation, but also the cell vitality of WF02. This bacterium possesses 9 biocontrol metabolites related genes identified in the genome, such as those encode surfactin, iturin, and fengycin, etc. Taken together, the bacterial inoculant strain WF02 formulated with BP additive can act as a potential biocontrol agent against BFB.
