人們很容易在網路上分享多媒體檔案，例如在一些網站如Youtube或是Flickr分享影片與圖片。然而攻擊者同時可以上傳嵌入檔案攻擊用戶。為了避免使用者接觸到這些具有惡意的多媒體檔案，我們提出一個壓制惡意程式腳本運行的系統。此系統透過檔案格式的轉換去破壞惡意程式腳本的結構，使這些惡意程式無法運行。本技術不僅適用於多種多媒體檔案，同時能有效破壞嵌入至多媒體檔案之惡意程式腳本。透過本機制可以增進伺服器，特別是網頁伺服器的安全性。以避免傳統伺服器防毒軟體偵測不足，而造成惡意使用者利用隱藏有惡意程式腳本的多媒體檔案，上傳至伺服器中，而運用其他手法觸發，造成系統受損或其他資安事件的威脅。 On the Internet, people can easily share multimedia files. For example, people can share videos and pictures on websites like Youtube or Flickr. However, attackers also upload embedded files to attack users. To protect users from this multimedia file attack, we proposed a malicious script suppression system. It uses file format conversion (i.e. transcoding) to destructively transform the structure of the malicious scripts so they become inactive. In this study, we verify that our system is suitable for many kinds of multimedia files (e.g. BMP, AVI) and able to suppress malicious scripts in multimedia file.
