具改良性質的外科手術縫線

帶刺狀聚對二氧環已酮縫線常用於腹腔鏡微創手術之傷口縫合,因縫線的刺狀構造可將傷口兩邊的組織拉近,免去打結的需求,且縫線本身的抗拉強度可維持傷口的閉合,為廣泛使用的縫線。但聚對二氧環已酮為可吸收性材質,在植入體內4周後,其抗拉強度即下降一半,若傷口尚未完全癒合,則可能會造成傷口破裂,導致需要二次手術。因此本專利發明有表面塗層之帶刺狀聚對二氧環已酮縫線,可延長帶刺縫線在體內會快速降解抗拉強度之臨床問題。Barbed polydioxanone (PDO) sutures are commonly used for wound closure in minimum invasive surgery. The barbed structure can bring the tissues of two sides of the wound closer resulting in no knots, and the tensile strength of the suture can maintain wound closure. Therefore, barbed PDO sutures are widely used. However, PDO is an absorbable material, and the tensile strength will decrease 50% after being implanted into the body for 4 weeks. If it takes longer time to repair the wound, barbed PDO suture with weak tensile strength will cause wound rupture and reoperation. Therefore, this patent invents barbed PDO sutures with surface coating in order to prolong the tensile strength degradation and solve the unmet clinical need.
