技術說明

利用畫面內矩形區塊估測模式的視訊編解碼方法及其裝置--本發明提出一種利用畫面內矩形區塊估測模式的視訊編碼方法。此方法在接收一序列輸入畫面之中的目前編碼畫面之後，可選擇性地將目前編碼畫面中的各個編碼單元分割為兩個非方正矩形的預測單元，又可選擇性地將各個預測單元分割為多個子區塊，以增進自參考畫面中搜尋到的參考區塊之匹配準確性。本發明另提出對應於上述視編碼方法的視訊解碼方法，以及用以實現視訊編碼方法以及視訊解碼方法的編碼器以及解碼器。 A video encoding method by oblong intra prediction is provided in the invention. In such method, after a current encoding frame among a sequence of input frames is received, each coding unit in the current encoding frame may be optionally split into two non-square prediction units, and each of the prediction units may be optionally split into a plurality of sub-blocks so as to thereby improve the matching accuracy for a matched reference block from a reference frame. A video decoding method corresponding to the aforesaid video encoding method as well as a video encoder and a video decoder respectively implementing the aforesaid video encoding method and the video decoding method are also provided.
