技術說明

在近年來智慧型裝置的成長導致了伺服器的需求大量上升，而為了使伺服器能穩定的運作，伺服器的工作溫度需要控制在一定的低溫範圍，而導致伺服器機房的冷凍空調消耗了大量的能源。 　　本專利的目的在於有效提升伺服器機櫃的散熱效果以有效降低伺服器機房整體的冷凍空調使用量，進一步降低能源使用率以達到節能的效果。在一般伺服器散熱方式，冷空氣會流過伺服器與伺服器之間的間隙並帶走由伺服器產生的熱能，但此種方式冷空氣只能有限的帶走伺服器所產生的熱能。 　　此專利設計了一種導流板，目的在於使冷空氣能夠在機櫃進行導流並在伺服器表面形成衝擊效果，加強冷空氣能夠帶走的熱量。而模擬也顯示，在給予相同熱源的發熱表面上，應用此種衝擊冷卻的效果比起空氣流過表面的情況下，可以更有效的降低溫度。 Increasing demands of the intelligent devices (mobiles, tablets) contributes to the rapid growth of data centers. The server working temperature needs to be controlled to maintain server working performance, which consumes huge energy from computer room air conditioning (CRAC). This patent proposes a method to reduce the energy usage in CRAC by increase the cooling efficiency. In a typical cooled data centers, cold air flows through server racks and removes heat. A new flow-guided plate is designed to guide cold air to impinge on the server surfaces and removes more heat. This impingement cooling can achieve lower surface temperature compared to the traditional cooling method.
