高強度保水無菌栽培介質顆粒及其製造方法

一種高強度保水無菌栽培介質圓球顆粒,該圓球顆粒具備多孔質球心部份與緻密質球殼部份,多孔質球心部份主要提供栽培介質保水保氣功能,緻密質球殼部份則主要提供顆粒強度與與控制水分功能。其中多孔質球心部份係藉由包括可燒結性粉、高溫可燒失材料與黏結劑等所組成,緻密質球殼部份係藉由包括可燒結性粉與黏結劑等所組成,上述球心與球殼部份之可燒結粉與黏結劑,可為相同或不同材料所組成。圓球顆粒成品規格為600℃~2000℃高溫燒結,球形度>0.7,顆粒表面殼層最大開口孔洞平均直徑<2mm,顆粒表面殼層開口孔洞面積之總合與表面殼層總面積之比值<0.2,緻密質球殼部份的孔隙率為10%以下,且須不大於多孔質球心部份的孔隙率,多孔質球心部份的孔隙率為0.1~99%(即實心、多孔質、近似空心之顆粒球心皆可),多孔質球心半徑與整體顆粒球之半徑比在0~0.99之間(即實心或極薄空心球殼皆可),栽培介質ph值為4~10。因產品具備顆粒球形度佳、顆粒球表層無大小不一且不規則分佈開口孔洞,高強度、保水保氣、保肥、無菌、輕質、多孔性等功能,故可應用於栽培介質、景觀石、過濾石、透氣材料、保水材料、營建材料、土壤改良等範疇。 A manufacturing process for making surface–coated particles is developed by using the methods of coating and compacting. At first, a lot of small-sized particles with any shape could be gradually surface-coated in a rotating tank if adequate amount of binder is added during the manufacturing process. As a result, the surface-coated particles become stronger and their surface microstructure is more uniform. Ignition-loss and foaming are the two primary mechanisms for producing high-strength surface-coated particles in a high temperature furnace. The manufacturing process we proposed here can be utilized to produce some growing media such as lightweight aggregates and hollow spheres. Due to the unique properties of higher compressive-strength, good noise-protection and thermal-insulation, excellent porosity-control and possible water-proofing, the resulting surface-coated particles are attractive and promising in many agricultural and engineering applications such as the growing media.
