可變摩擦阻尼器

本發明係有關於一種可變摩擦阻尼器,其主要係由摩擦阻尼器及致動裝置所組成;該摩擦阻尼器之其左、右摩擦片係對應插置而可產生相對滑動,同時,摩擦片組間相對內側組設有楔形片,而兩楔形片間組設有一楔形塊,且楔形塊係組設在一調整螺桿上,而調整螺桿之另端係組接於致動裝置上,該致動裝置可為一步進馬達,且致動裝置係由可監測結構物受外力擾動狀態之控制單元所控制,而可送出適當之輸出訊號予致動裝置,以使致動裝置帶動調整螺桿轉動,而在轉動調整螺桿時可移動楔形塊,以使楔形塊對第一與第二摩擦片組之左、右摩擦片施加正向力並產生適當的摩擦阻尼力;藉此,以令摩擦阻尼器可根據結構之真實反應與地震力之特性而隨時調整,並可使正向力更均勻的分佈在摩擦界面上,且可施加較小之螺栓張力即可達到較大之摩擦阻尼力者。 This invented device, termed variable friction damper, consists of a friction damper and an actuation device. The friction damper is composed of left and right sets of friction pads that produce slip forces and provide energy dissipation capacity for seismic structures. At the center of the damper and in between the friction pads there is a wedge block and a pair of wedge pads. The wedge block is bolted on a ball screw, so the displacement of the wedge block can be adjusted by turning the ball screw that is driven by an actuation device, such as a serve motor. The control command of the actuation device is computed by a control unit and is determined by structural vibration signals that are measured by sensors mounted on the structure. In turn, this controllable normal force produces a variable slip force for the friction damper. A seismic structure with variable friction dampers will possess a better energy dissipation capacity than a conventional passive friction damper.
