新抗癌藥物, 5-(9-Acridinylamino)toluidine衍生物,在試管中對許多人類癌細胞生長有顯 著抑制作用,具廣效性. 其中以BO-0723, BO-0724及BO-0777在裸鼠體內之人類乳癌MX-1有非 常顯著的抑制作用,本新研發之化合物在新抗癌藥物對研發具有很高的研發潛力. The newly invented anticancer agents, 5-(9-acridinylamino)toluidine derivatives, exhibited broad spectrum of antitumor activity against a variety of human tumor cell growth in vitro. Among these compounds, BO-0723, BO-0724, and BO-0777 possessed significant antitumor efficacy in nude mice bearing human breast tumor MX-1 xenograft. These agents were also not cross-resistant with taxol or vinblastine. Thus, the newly invented agents have high potential to be developed as a new and effective agent for cancer chemotherapy.
