利用極心線設計之輔具結構

目前市售膝關節輔具多是採用單一迴轉設計,但由於人體的膝關節運動具有滾動及滑動的特性,並非單純繞單一軸心迴轉運動。因此採用單一迴轉設計的膝關節輔具並不符合膝關節原本運動特性,而此種不符合人體膝關節運動特性的膝關節輔具。可能造成復健者於復健過程中的疼痛感加劇、甚至造成二次傷害。 本技術利用自身健康膝關節之極心線作為輔具設計之依據,先利用運動極心線在固定極心線做純滾動時,在運動極心線面板上適當選取2點當插銷點,該點會在固定極心線面板上劃出兩溝槽。此種依據極心線所設計之雙溝槽式機構膝關節輔具,其運動特性會與健康膝關節相同,可應用於製作客製化高級復健設備及輔具。 Most of the commercial knee orthoses are made by using a revolute pair. As a matter of fact, the relative motion of the knee elements consists of a rotation along with a translation, rather than a single rotation motion. Therefore these orthoses, which uses a single revolute pair as the joint, will not meet the characteristics of human knee. The polode of human knee joint is the most precise way to describe the whole process of relative motion of the knee joint. A method to design the orthosis using the polode of healthy knee is develpoed. While the moving polode makes a pure rotation motion on the fixed polode, a point attached to the moving polode will trace a curve on the fixed polode plain. The point and the curve can be used to form a pin-in-slot joint. By properly selecting two pin-in-slot pairs generated by the previous procedure, a double- pin-in-slot orthosis can be then designed. This technique can be applied to design high quality custom-made orthoses or other devices.
