物性測量裝置及測量物性的方法

本發明揭露一種可以使用同一種裝置來量測液體的密度、黏度與表面張力的方法,裝置為一長方體,分為上下兩個部分,上半部為高溫爐,下半部為測量設備。上半部的高溫爐含有加熱器及溫度控制器,用來保持液體的溫度,並在四周加上隔溫層防止熱源流失,其內部有一排液容器,用以盛裝待測液體,排液容器下方有一孔口使液體流出,排液容器含有一陶瓷棒孔口塞,以防止液體在加熱過程中由孔口流失,在排液裝置外部設有陶瓷棒控制裝置以固定及控制陶瓷棒的移動。下半部的測量裝備則包含排液盛裝載具以及排液重量測定儀器,裝置上下部之間有一孔道連接排液容器以及排液盛裝載具。待測液體加熱至設定溫度後,將塞住排液容器孔口的陶瓷棒抽出使液體由排液容器下方流出,經由孔道流至排液盛裝載具上,並由排液重量測定裝置量測紀錄排出液體的重量。接著利用數值方法計算排液裝置的流場與液面位置,以新發明的演算法針對不同高度頭範圍迴歸不同排液質量流率下的液面位置,此方法可以一個裝置同時量測流體的密度、黏度與表面張力係數。 This invention discloses a method for simultaneously measuring density, viscosity and surface tension coefficient of a liquid. The measuring apparatus includes two parts: one is a furnace and the other part includes the measuring equipment. Inside the furnace a draining vessel is placed to contain the liquid for which the density, viscosity and surface tension is to be determined. The furnace has heaters and a temperature controller to heat and keep the liquid to and at the desired temperature. The wall of the furnace is insulated to prevent heat loss. A draining orifice is drilled through the vessel bottom. A stopper is used to preventing the liquid from flowing through the orifice before experiments. The measuring equipment is installed below the furnace and has a beaker and a scale. Once the liquid is reaching the desired temperature, the stopper is removed from the orifice and the liquid is allowed to flow through the orifice into the beaker. The accumulative weights of liquid in the beaker are measured and recorded against the running time using the scale. From the data of accumulative liquid weights, the mass flow rates and elevation heads of the liquid are derived, which are compared with the results of computational fluid dynamics. A new algorithm is developed to perform the multi-variable regression to determine the values of fluid properties including density, surface tension and viscosity.
