技術說明

本發明利用兩性離子矽烷分子在不鏽鋼濾網上做共價修飾,使得濾網表面具有超高親水性與水下超高疏油性,我們將油水混和物倒入濾網中,水分子靠重力濾過濾網,而油分子停留在濾網上,藉此達到油水分離之效果。研究發現,油水分離效率可達99.5%以上。此發明的優點有如下: 5. 超高親水性與水下超高疏油性。 6. 化學穩定性高,濾網可長時間存放。 7. 濾網可以用清水沖洗,即可再生。 8. 兩性離子矽烷分子的化學修飾步驟簡單、快速。 9. 可用於淡水或海水中做油水分離。 10. 兩性離子矽烷分子具有生物相容性,不會再成環境汙染。 A facile yet effective surface modification approach for superhydrophilicity and underwater superoleophobicity has been developed. The surface coatings were constructed by covalent silanization of zwitterionic sulfobetaine silane (SBSi) in an alcoholic solution. The coatings exhibited excellent wettability (contact angle < 5°) and long-term stability under exposure to heat and UV irradiation. We modified stainless steel wire meshes with SBSi for oil-water separation. The optimal oil recovery rate was achieved to be >99.5% by using the mesh with SBSi modification and the pore size of 17 μm in diameter. Moreover, the water flux reached 6.5×107 L/m2•h•bar, which is about 3 orders of magnitude higher than previous works having a similar separation efficiency. Consequently, we demonstrated the superhydrophilicity and underwater superoleophobicity of SBSi, offering promise in solving technological problems of oil-water separation and a potential of large-scale commercial applications.
