技術說明

硬式隱形眼鏡或角膜塑型片為現今近視學童選擇配戴以達到近視控制，但當鏡片戴入眼中後，因淚液中富含許多蛋白質，容易吸附在鏡片上，造成細菌群聚而引發感染發炎。另外眨眼時鏡片會與眼瞼和角膜摩擦，若鏡片上之蛋白質未移除乾淨，也易造成眼瞼或角膜組織擦傷，因此感染發炎和眼睛組織受傷為配戴者的兩大臨床問題。現今清潔硬式隱形眼鏡或角膜塑型片的方式為在鏡片上滴硬式隱形眼鏡保養液後，以手指搓洗，再以保養液沖洗乾淨後保存。但手指搓洗力道難以控制一致性，可能因太用力造成鏡片破損，也可能因太輕而無法有效移除吸附蛋白質。因此本技術為一清潔裝置，內含泡棉棒，連接至可按壓後旋轉之軸承，硬式隱形眼鏡或角膜塑型片固定在支架後貼近泡棉棒，注入保養液到裝置中後，再以按壓方式旋轉泡棉棒，以供清潔硬式隱形眼鏡或角膜塑型片之凹槽面。藉由按壓方式提供一致性的機械力，解決因難以控制手指搓洗力道而造成鏡片破損的使用問題，再藉由保養液中成分分解鏡片上吸附之蛋白質，此裝置將可徹底清潔鏡片，解決硬式隱形眼鏡或角膜塑型片配戴者的臨床問題。School children currently choose to wear rigid gas permeable contact lenses or orthokeratology lenses in order to control myopia. When the lens is worn, tear proteins are easily deposited onto the lens resulting in bacterial colonization and infection. In addition, the lens is in contact with the eyelid and the cornea during blinking. The eyelid or cornea tissue staining is also observed when adsorbed proteins are not removed completely. Therefore, infection and eye tissue staining are clinical problems for the wearers. The cleaning method is to drop contact lens care solution on the lens, to wash the lens with fingers, and to rinse and to store lenses in the care solution. It is difficult to control the strength of fingers, the lens might be damaged when washing too hard or adsorbed proteins cannot be removed when washing too lightly. This technology is a cleaning device with foaming sticks. The foaming sticks can be connected to a bearing, and rigid gas permeable contact lenses or orthokeratology lenses can be fixed onto a scaffold for foaming sticks to be attached. After care solution is added into the device, foaming sticks can be rotated by pushing the bearing and the back of lenses can be cleaned. By providing a consistent mechanical strength, the lens will not be damaged. By dissolving adsorbed proteins with some ingredients in the care solution, the lens can be cleaned completely thus the clinical problems of rigid gas permeable contact lens or orthokeratology lens wearers can be solved.
