變齒厚蝸桿型刀具及其加工方法

一種變齒厚蝸桿型刀具,包括一蝸桿本體及一螺旋刃口部。螺旋刃口部分布於蝸桿本體上,且螺旋刃口部具有變齒厚分布的結構特徵。其中,蝸桿本體係以齒條刀座標系統來描述,螺旋刃口部係以一刀具座標系統來描述。齒條刀座標系統的向量參數被轉換成刀具座標系統的向量參數,使蝸桿本體可以被假想成齒條刀,進而將螺旋刃口部之形狀導程出變齒厚分佈的結構特徵。藉此,加工齒胚時,刀頭座與工件主軸間的中心距離得以固定,進而省略徑向進給自由度,而且還能抑制齒胚的齒面扭曲。 The disclosure relates to a variable tooth thickness (VTT) worm type tool that includes a main body and a spiral blade. The spiral blade is located on the surface of the main body, and has a variable tooth thickness feature. The main body is described by a tool ordinate system, and the spiral blade is described by a cutlery ordinate system. The variable tooth thickness feature of the spiral blade is designed by transforming the tool ordinate system into the cutlery ordinate system. Therefore, a gear is manufactured by the longitudinal crowning and the tangential feed of the VTT worm type tool without varying the center distance feed, and the twist problem of the gear tooth flank is also reduced.
