技術說明

Cu-Be合金在回收或加工(如銲接、切割)時,容易以粉塵或氣體方式導致操作人員吸入Be元素,對人體及環境造成影響;近年來為了達成模具特性基本要求(T.S. >850MPa,熱傳導係數 >100W/m-K),Cu-Ni-Si-Cr合金被開發來替代Cu-Be合金於工業上之應用。 一般銅合金多以鑄造及鍛造之方式製造,但在實際鑄造過程中,難免會產生夾渣、捲氣、內/外縮孔、變形及裂縫等缺陷,或者作為模具材料,在長期使用後,模具表面形成各種缺陷(龜裂或破損),這些缺陷將使模具生產之鑄品無法符合規格之要求,因此而導致模具廢棄將造成成本及資源的浪費。 就成本的考量,銲接修補進行模具維護或許是可行的方案。因Cu-Ni-Si-Cr合金屬於高熱傳導之合金,屬於不容易銲接的材料;對於此銲接技術而言降低該合金之高熱傳導性為主要解決之問題,因此本技術是設計各式銲前熱處理以降低其熱傳導係數,提高此合金之銲接特性;在銲接之後進行兩階段銲後熱處理使其析出物散布均勻及回復其強度,甚至使修補後的區域比母材呈現更佳的強度。 When recycling or processing (such as welding and cutting), Cu-Be alloy tends to produce toxic dust or gas which may have harmful effects to the operator health or environment. In recent years, to fit with to the basic requirements of a mold (Tensile strength > 850 MPa, thermal conductivity >100 W/mK), a novel Cu-Ni-Si-Cr alloy was developed to replace Cu-Be alloy for the industrial applications. Generally, copper alloy are produced by casting or forging. However, after manufacturing process or long term service, various defects such as slag inclusion, gas entrainment, inner/outer shrinkage, deformation and surface cracks may occurs. Those defects may substantially make casting molds no longer to be used which results in a capital loss or waste. For economic considerations, those defect may be repaired by the welding techniques. However, due to its high thermal conductivity, Cu-Ni-Si-Cr alloy is a difficult welding material. To overcome its repair welding problem, reduction in its thermal conductivity becomes critical. Therefore, in this repair welding techniques, various pre-weld heat treatments were designed to reduce its thermal conductivity and improve its weldability. After repair welding, two-step post-weld heat treatment processes were conducted, which resulted in evenly distribution of precipitates and the higher strength in the repaired area, even stronger than that of the parent material.
