技術說明

一種開槽型信號傳輸電路板結構,其可整合至一高速數位傳輸系統,用以對該高頻電路系統提供一低損耗之信號傳輸功能。此開槽型信號傳輸電路板結構的特點在於形成一開槽結構部 (即空洞之溝槽)於導電性之接地面上,且此開槽結構部係位於信號線路的下方。此開槽結構會使得訊號線的到接地面的電流路徑加長,使得等效的電阻增加,進而降低漏電流,此作法可使得高速數位信號於通過信號線路時,其所產生之電場於此空洞之開槽結構部之處產生漏電流降低,藉此降低漏電流造成傳輸信號的能量損耗。 A ground-plane slotted type signal transmission circuit board structure is proposed, which is designed for integration to a gigahertz signal processing system, such as a 4Gbps (gigabit per second) ultra-wideband (UWB) signal processing system, for low-loss transmission of gigahertz signals. The proposed circuit board structure is characterized by the formation of a slotted structure (i.e., elongated cutaway structure) in the ground plane at the beneath of each signal transmission line (microstrip or stripline). Since the slotted structure is a void portion, the electric field of a gigahertz signal being transmitting through the transmission line would be unable to induce electric currents toward the slotted structure. This feature allows the prevention of a leakage current that would otherwise flow from the signal transmission line to the ground plane, and therefore can help prevent unnecessary power loss of the transmitted signal.
