監測及紀錄病毒感染歷程及篩選疫苗之方法及系統METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND RECORDING A VIRAL INFECTION PROCESS AND THAT FOR SCREENING VACCINES

本發明係關於一種檢測技術監測及紀錄病毒於宿主細胞中之感染歷程以及篩選疫苗之方法及系統,其特徵在於利用一微型懸臂樑感測裝置,其包括一微型懸臂樑,該微型懸臂樑具有一附上水膠材料之接觸區,使宿主細胞固定於該水膠材料中,再使含待測病毒或疫苗之樣本與固定於該水膠材料的宿主細胞接觸進行檢測產生形變量,並紀錄以獲得一以時間為基礎的形變量變化模式(profile),作為病毒感染歷程或疫苗篩選之判斷基礎。本技術提供細胞從貼附、培養、病毒感染、病毒複製、病毒脫離、抗體效能測試、疫苗篩選等,接可以在無菌之生物晶片內完成,確保整個過程能不受到外界人為的影響與干擾。且因為以細胞為直接測試對象,免除繁雜之抗體準備流程,故整體測試所需時間皆可於一日內完成,使廠商得以最快速度切入市場,提高競爭力。 The present invention relates to a method and system for monitoring and recording a viral infection process and that for screening vaccines, which is characterized by using a microcantilever detection device which comprises a microcantilever comprising a contact area having an attached hydrogel material for fixing host cells therein; wherein a detection is conducted by exposing a sample containing a test virus or vaccine to the host cells in the hydrogel material so that a reflection of the microcantilever is produced, and the reflection is then recorded so as to obtain a time-based reflection profile, which is served as a basis for determination of the viral infection process and vaccine screening.
