穗花珊瑚醇在製備治療發炎疼痛之藥物的用途。 一種穗花珊瑚醇(Lemnalol)於發炎疼痛治療之應用，該穗花珊瑚醇(Lemnalol)之分子式係為8-異丙基-5-甲基-4-亞甲基-十氫化-1,5-環化-萘-3-醇(8-isopropyl-5-methyl -4-methylene-decahydro-1,5-cyclo-naphthalen-3-ol)，其具抑制酯多醣(LPS)刺激巨噬細胞表現誘發型一氧化氮合成酶(inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase；iNOS)及第二型環氧化酶(Cyclooxygenase-II；COX-2)蛋白質之表現，將一治療有效劑量之該穗花珊瑚醇(Lemnalol) 投與一發炎疼痛個體，以對該發炎疼痛個體進行消炎鎮痛治療。 Lemnalol applying for treating inflammation and pain Lemnalol having a molecular formula of (8-isopropyl-5 -methyl-4-methylene-decahydro-1,5-cyclo-naphthalen-3-ol) is applied to treat inflammation and pain. Lemnalol significantly inhibits inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression and cyclooxygenase-II activity in stimulated macrophages. In this invention, Lemnalol with an effective dose of treatment is thrown to an individual having inflammation and pain thereby treating the individual to reduce inflammation and ease pain.
