低功耗電子產品如無線感測網路系統適合以環境產生的微小能量為供電來源,結合二次電池作為輔助電源,在負載需求大時,二次電池將提供負載因環境產生不足的能量,相反地,當負載需求小時,二次電池則能夠儲存因環境產生多餘的能量以達到系統自主性的永久運作,在這種情境下,環境能量、二次電池與負載這三者元件間的能量分配就是相當重要的議題。本專利提出一個新穎的能量傳遞方式、轉換器電路架構及其操作方式,適合處理三者元件所需或所產生的能量。與先前技術比較,此架構能以最少的功率電晶體數量實現相同的功能,並能增加整體的轉換效率,而由於改善後的優勢,系統能夠降低生產成本與面積。 Low power consumption electronic product such as wireless sensor network system is suitably supplied by ambient energy. Combine with secondary battery as an auxiliary source, at heavy load, secondary battery will be able to provide energy to load due to deficiency of ambient energy. On the contrary, at light load, secondary battery will be able to store energy due to surplus of ambient energy. In the end, system will operate autonomously and forever. In this patent, a novel power distribution method, converter circuit architecture and operation method which are suitable to deal with demanded and produced power among three elements are proposed. Compare to existing technology, proposed architecture that use the least number of power MOS achieve the same function with conventional method. It can also increase overall conversion efficiency. Because of superiority after improvement, system will be able to decrease production costs and area.
