聚醯胺發泡成形體及其製造方法

中文說明: 本提案以尼龍鹽類(nylon salts)來合成適用於發泡用的聚醯胺。此發泡體用的聚醯胺,硬鏈區段 (hard segment) 為使用環狀內醯胺單體及尼龍鹽所合成,可確保胺/酸官能基比例相同。此外,此策略也可用於有效克服傳統己二胺 (HMDA)或類似單體於聚合反應時,由於沸點過低而有容易散逸引起胺/酸比例失衡,而導致聚合物的分子量受限的問題。此發泡體用的聚醯胺是以二步法來進行合成,第一段先將環狀內醯胺單體及尼龍鹽先行反應形成硬鏈段,而隨後的第二段涉及了導入做為軟鏈段的聚醚胺。聚醯胺產物的熔點以硬鏈段為主,而其玻璃轉移溫度及拉伸性質可有效藉由軟鏈段的不同添加比例而被有效調控。除了上述優點外,本提案也說明了超臨界二氧化碳及氮氣流體作為發泡劑被併入此聚醯胺中,在溫度範圍為 110-135 ˚C以及壓力範圍為 80-150 bar的條件下進行熔融發泡製程,其發泡膨脹倍率 (foaming expansion ratio)為 4.1-21。目前尚未發現已知技術,可如同本提案中所述具有優良發泡能力及高發泡倍率的尼龍鹽合成之聚醯胺。 英文說明: In this proposal, nylon salts are used to synthesize polyamides suitable for foaming. For these polyamides, the hard segment is synthesized by the usage of cyclic lactam monomers and nylon salts, which can ensure the same ratio of amine/acid functional groups. In addition, this strategy can also be used to effectively overcome the traditional issue that the hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) or similar monomers are easily dissipated during the polymerization reaction due to their low boiling point, resulting in the imbalance of the amine/acid ratio, thereby leading to the limited molecular weight of the synthesized polymers. The synthesis of polyamides for foaming is performed via a two-step method. In the first stage, the cyclic lactam monomer and nylon salts are first reacted to form a hard segment. Subsequently, the second stage involving the addition of polyetheramine as the soft segment is carried out. For the synthesized polyamide products, the melting point is dominated by the hard segment, and the glass transition temperature and tensile properties can be effectively regulated by changing the adding ratio of the soft segment. In addition to the above advantages, this proposal also states that supercritical fluids of carbon dioxide or nitrogen as blowing agents are added into these polyamides for the melt foaming process at the conditions of temperature range from 110 to 135 ˚C and pressure range from 80-150 bar. The range of expansion ratio of the foamed products is from 4.1 to 21. So far, no known technology associated with polyamides synthesized from nylon salts with good foaming ability and high foaming ratio as mentioned in this proposal has been found.
