技術說明

本發明之銥錯合物具有一碳烯結構配位於各獨立的銥金屬。所述碳烯結構可提高中心銥原子的金屬中心d-d激發態（metal centred d-d excited state）的能階，從而提高所述銥錯合物的發光效率。此外，本發明之銥錯合物的發光波長容易藉由改變環狀結構上的取代基來進行調節。具體地說，可輕易地調整三牙配基及/或具有碳烯結構之二牙配基上的取代基，且由於改變所述配基上的取代基，所述銥錯合物的發光顏色從紅色、黃色、綠色甚至到藍色都可輕易被調整。因此，可獲得具有寬發光波長範圍的銥錯合物。 The iridium complex of the invention has one carbene fragment coordinated to each of the individual iridium metal. The carbene fragments can increase the energy level of metal centred d-d excited state of the central iridium atom, thus increasing the luminous efficiency of the iridium complex. In addition, the emission wavelength of the iridium complex of the invention can be easily adjusted by varying the substituent(s) on the ring structure(s). Specifically, the substituent(s) on the tridentate ligand(s) and/or bidentate carbene ligand(s) can be easily adjusted, so the emission colour of the iridium complex can be easily tuned from red, yellow, green and even to blue by varying the substituent(s) on the ligand(s). Therefore, wide range of emission wavelength of the iridium complex can be easily achieved.
