技術說明

本發明係關於一種可產生一對應至一影像訊號之深度圖的深度圖產生方法，以便提供給一用於將2維平面影像訊號轉換為3維立體影像訊號之影像轉換系統使用。其中，在本發明之深度圖產生方法所產生之深度圖中，每一影像區塊分別被賦予一深度值。而且，藉由將一深度圖與另一前一時間點之深度圖互相比較的方式，本發明之深度圖產生方法可產生一調整後之深度圖，以更精準地賦予一影像訊號之每一影像區塊一調整後之深度值，有效地提昇一用於將2維平面影像訊號轉換為3維立體影像訊號之影像轉換系統的轉換效率。 A method for depth map generation is disclosed, capable of generating a depth map corresponding an image signal, for the application of a 2D to 3D image transformation system. In the depth map generated by the disclosed method, each of the plural image regions of the image signal is assigned with a depth value. Besides, by means of comparing the depth map with another depth map of the earlier time point, the disclosed method can generate a modulated depth map, for assigning a depth value to each of the plural image regions of the image signal more precisely. Thus, the transformation performance and efficiency of the 2D to 3D image transformation system are hereby improved.
