技術說明

本發明係為一種光學傳輸模組，應用於一印刷電路板上之設置，該模組於發射端之應用包含有：一半導體基板、一溝渠構造、一反射面、一薄膜、一光源單元以及一光波導結構。該溝渠構造形成於半導體基板中，且反射面形成於溝渠構造之一側上方；光波導結構與薄膜形成於該溝渠構造上，而光源單元對應反射面設置於半導體基板上，用以將電信號轉換成光信號而發射進入光波導結構中，並經由反射面之反射以進行傳輸。該模組於接收端之應用具有相似構造，而改由一光檢測單元將光信號轉換成電信號以進行傳輸。 The present invention relates to an optical transmission module applied on a print circuit board. The module in an emitting terminal includes a semiconductor substrate, a trench structure, a reflective surface, a thin film, a light source and an optical waveguide structure. The trench structure is formed on the semiconductor substrate, and the reflective surface is formed on one side of the trench structure. The optical waveguide structure and the thin film are formed on the trench structure and the light source is disposed on the semiconductor substrate and corresponds to the reflective surface for converting electrical signals into optical signals which are sent into the optical waveguide structure and then reflected by the reflective surface. The module in a receiving terminal has a similar structure, but the optical signals are converted into electrical signals by an optical detector.
