技術說明

本發明係一種結合雙折射晶體與波長調制的外差光源系統。本發明包含一個雙折射晶體與一波長可調變之光源。利用訊號產生器輸出一鋸齒波或弦波來調制光源，使之成為一個波長可隨時間變化的光源。此光源具有水平與垂直兩種正交偏振態。此光源經過校準後，穿透一光欄將光束調整為圓形光束，接著通過雙折射晶體。在晶體中，兩種正交偏振光看到不同的折射率，因而有不同的光程。藉由時變的波長與不同的光程來產生差頻，因而形成外差光源。 The system that combining birefringent crystal and wavelength modulated heterodyne light source was proposed .It’s include of birefringent crystal and the source which can be adjusted the wavelength.The light source is modulated by a function generator which outputs a triangular wave or sine wave with an amplitude and frequency, therefore, to become one wavelength can be change over time of the light source. This light source has a horizontal and vertical two orthogonal polarization states. The light penetrate the aperture after calibration becomes circular beam last the circular beam passes the birefringent crystal. Two orthogonal polarized light to be seen with a different refractive index resulting in a different optical path in birefringent crystal. A heterodyne light is generated by time-varying the wavelength and the different optical path to produce a difference frequency.
