螢光材料已廣泛使用於各式光電元件,如液晶顯示器之冷陰極螢光燈、陰極射線顯示器與場發射顯示器之螢光幕,以及照明用螢光燈管與發光二極體(LED)等。然而LED正面臨著發熱的問題與瓶頸,散熱是故已成為當前提高LED使用壽命的一重要課題,特別是近年來高亮度與高功率LED的發展。此發明是於發光二極體之螢光層製作散熱通道,藉此可減少溫變效應與改善散熱狀況。本發明係有關於一種提升散熱效果之發光二極體裝置及其製備方法,係於發光二極體裝置之螢光層中製作散熱孔以及散熱溝槽,並將導熱材料填補於該散熱孔以及散熱溝槽中,藉此可減少溫變效應與改善散熱情況以提高發光二極體之使用壽命。 Phosphor materials have been widely applied in many optoelectronic devices, such as cold cathode fluorescence lamp (CCFL) of liquid crystal display (LCD), cathode ray tube (CRT) of television (TV), field emission display (FED), fluorescence lamp tube and light emitting diode (LED). However, LEDs are suffering a serious problem of heat dissipation. Especially, heat dissipation is becoming more and more important for high power LEDs because heat generated in LEDs can result in the degradation of diodes and conversion efficiency. Herein, we invent a new method to help heat dissipation for high power LEDs by drilling channels in phosphor layers, which can behave as heat conductors to reduce the temperature of LED dies as well as chips. The present invention provides a light emitting diode device with enhancement of heat dissipation, and the method of preparing the same.
