技術說明

一種車牌影像辨識系統與車牌影像更新方法，其中該系統辨識附掛在交通載具的車牌以監控該運輸工具，包含取樣單元、資料庫模組、偵測模組與辨識模組。其中，該取樣單元係擷取該車牌以形成車牌樣本並藉由旋轉強度統計長條圖演算法與主成分分析演算法自該車牌樣本取得與該車牌的位置相關的該第一特徵，及擷取該車牌樣本之車牌號碼相關的該第二特徵；該資料庫模組係藉由與支持向量器演算法形成具有該第一特徵的第一解析度資料庫與形成具有該第二特徵的第二解析度資料庫；該偵測模組係取得該車牌的位置；以及，該辨識模組係取得該車牌的號碼。此外，本發明更包含供將運輸工具的車牌及該車牌號碼更新至該資料庫模組的方法。 The present invention is related to an image of license plate recognize system and the license plate renew method, the system recognize a license plate place on vehicles to monitor the vehicles. The image recognize system comprises a sampling unit, ass data base unit, a detecting unit, and a recognize unit. The sampling unit retrieves the license plate to form a sample image of the license plate, a first feature value related to a place of the license plate is retrieved from the sample image utilize histogram of oriented gradients analysis and principle component analysis, and the second feature value related to a number of the license plate is also retrieved from the sample image utilize histogram of oriented gradients analysis and principle component analysis. The data base unit generates a first resolution database and a second resolution database through a support vector machines analysis.
