本發明係關於一種新穎的本土菌系蕈狀芽孢桿菌Bacillus mycoides PDML RS1013菌株,其兼具有可防治瓜類蔬菜幼苗猝倒病與十字花科根瘤病之特性。自蔬菜田及水田收集植物與土壤樣本,逐一進行分離與篩選試驗後,獲得具有生物防治蔬菜作物病害的蕈狀芽孢桿菌(Bacillus mycoides)菌株,其中本土新菌系B. mycoides PDML RS1013,用於防治胡瓜幼苗猝倒病及甘藍之十字花科蔬菜根瘤病,證實其可顯著降低蔬菜病害的罹病程度外,尚且有助於促進作物生長與發育,該菌株可用於開發成具有市場潛力的植物保護製劑。 A new isolate of Bacillus mycoides PDML RS1013 was obtained from vegetable crops grown in Taiwanese fild. The isolate PDML RS1013 was very effective in controlling cucurbitaceous vegetable seedling damping-off caused by Pythium aphanidermatum and cruciferous clubroot disease caused by Plasmodiophora brassicae. In addition, it was also able to markedly stimulate the growth of vegetable seedlings. It is an excellent biocontrol agent for potectially developing the plant protectant product for commercialization.
