本發明為一種用於顯示裝置之影像品質提升方法，包括輸入一影像；基於該影像計算一機率密度函數；產生一第一亮度直方圖；基於該第一亮度直方圖計算一權重分布函數；該第一亮度直方圖透過像素重新分配產生一第二亮度直方圖；基於該第二亮度直方圖計算一累積分布函數；基於該累積分布函數計算一伽瑪轉換函數；以及基於該伽瑪轉換函數調整該影像之亮度分布，本發明提出了對影像的像素強度分布進行一個自動的轉換技術來改善陰暗影像及視頻的亮度。 The present invention is a method of improving image quality for display device comprises steps of inputting an image; computing a probability density function based on the image; generating a first luminance histogram; computing a weighting distribution function based on the first luminance histogram; generating a second luminance histogram through pixel redistribution of the first luminance histogram; computing a cumulative density function based on the second luminance histogram; computing a gamma conversion function based on the cumulative density function based on the second luminance histogram; and adjusting luminance distribution of the input image based on the gamma conversion function. The present invention is an automatic transformation technique to improve the brightness of dimmed images.
