技術說明

本計畫「能產生高頻振動及微小電能之新型壓電元件開發及應用研究」為向國科會提出三年研究計畫。計畫內容及目標是設計開發一種能同時產生高頻振動及微小電能之壓電元件系統,並導入於需要使用振動及電能之產業應用,測試其功能並發展該應用設備之雛型。第一年為壓電元件系統研製,並選定具代表性之微放電加工及物理治療應用,前者包括微放電加工及超音波振動輔助排屑,後者包括電療與超音波振動治療,其整合之功能皆可互補且提高效能,將分別於第二年、第三年進行應用研究設計及功能驗證與整體效益之評估。此新型壓電元件主要是結合兩件壓電陶瓷振動子配合周邊機構完成,將輸入電能於第一個壓電陶瓷振動子利用逆壓電效應原理轉換為高頻振動輸出,銜接於後之第二個壓電陶瓷振動子利用正壓電效應原理將輸入振動機械能轉換為電能,這部份具有能源再利用之意義,若系統設計適當而相較於微放電加工及物理治療兩種應用所需之總能量低,則更有節能效果。較之於各別使用例如放電加工及振動排屑或電療與超音波振動治療機器合成所需功能,此新型壓電元件係一體設計可以同時提供兩種能量及性能輸出,其系統結構設計更為簡單且經濟。另嘗試導入微機構設計於放電端以獲得更佳之微放電加工及電療效果,達到技術創新之指標。研究內容主要包括新型壓電元件之系統設計分析及系統雛型測試、驅動器及控制器設計、微機構設計、應用系統平台建立與性能測試。若能藉由微放電加工與物理治療應用驗證其效果,不但確認此新型壓電元件之系統功能以及完成建立兩項應用設備雛型之目標,更可獲得寶貴設計及應用經驗 奠定推廣至其他應用之重要基礎。 The project entitled “Development and Application Study of A New Piezoelectric Device Producing Both High-Frequency Vibration and Low Electric Power”is a three-year project proposed to NSC. The primary goals of this project are the design of a piezoelectric-driven system able to produce both high-frequency vibration and low electric power and implementation to the selected application fields, as well as function testing and evaluation. Fundamental design and analysis of the device will be investigated in the first year. With specific design of the device for the chosen applications of Micro Electric Discharge Machining and Physical Therapy will be studied in the second and third year respectively. System integration and performance evaluation for each application will also be carried out. This proposed piezoelectric-driven device mainly consists of two pieces of ceramics actuators. With power input to the first actuator to oscillate, the connected second one makes use of the transmitted mechanical vibration energy to generate electricity, which has the meaning of renewable energy. In case the energy expanse is less as compared to the general use for both applications, the developed device has the advantage of energy saving. Moreover, this device builds with both functions in one set that is compact and economic. Also, micro structure is designed to control electric power output with better function for either Micro Electric Discharge Machining or Physical Therapy that may present a leading technology index in the application domain. The research topics include the system analysis and design, implementation on the prototyped application apparatus, piezoelectric ceramic actuator design, driving power design, controller design, micro structure fabrication, system testing and evaluation. While the function is verified to be satisfactory, not only successfully establish the prototype of the two applications but provide an important reference for other possible applications.
