偵測中央處理器散熱器狀態之系統及方法

針對電腦上CPU散熱器的狀態,我們發現一般目前市面上的軟硬體,都只有針對CPU散熱器上的風扇轉速提供偵測的機制,對於散熱器在使用一段時間後,因為灰塵滿佈所造成的散熱效能喪失,尚無一可靠的方法可以偵測。根據文獻所述,卡滿灰塵的散熱器散熱效果差,跟正常乾淨的散熱器溫度相差可達30度之多,還可能造成散熱風扇燒毀。所以異常高溫的原因除了人為因素、風扇故障或底座崩裂外,影響最劇的就是灰塵的囤積。 本發明提出一個CPU散熱器狀況偵測的方法,利用智慧型建模工具(如類神經網路、基因演算法、模糊理論…等)來建立電腦內CPU溫度的模型,並利用此一模型來做為散熱器狀態偵測的用途,讓使用者無需打開機殼便可正確的確認散熱器的狀態。另外,本發明並提出一個自動異常排除機制,當CPU散熱器狀態異常時,主動示警並嘗試排除異常狀況。 About the status of CPU heatsink in a computer system, we found there is no any existing software or hardware is able to detect the status of CPU heatsink correctly. The CPU heatsink could be filled with dust after long-term operation, and that would lower the efficiency of CPU heatsink. According to the studies, a CPU heatsink full of dust will cause a bad performance on thermal dissipation, and could cause CPU temperature raising abnormally and even a CPU fan damage. In this invention, we propose a method to detect the status of CPU heatsink correctly. We use computational-intelligence-based modeling tools to build a CPU temperature prediction model to detect the status of CPU heatsink. By this way, the end-user won’t need to open the chassis and remove the fan from CPU heatsink anymore if they would like to check the status of CPU heatsink. If the status of CPU heatsink is abnormal, we also provide a mechanism which is able to warn end-user and try to recover the heatsink.
