本專利利用新型的碳-磷配位基與不同種類的放光團 carbon-nitrogen (C^N) 及nitrogen-nitrogen (N^N) 作為基礎,藉由我們設計的合成步驟與銥金屬錯合,制備出一系列放光波長涵蓋全可見光的磷光材料,其中在包含許多優質的藍色、紅色、綠色的磷光材料。尤其在深藍色的部份是目前文獻中利用磷光材料做成的元件中最深藍且效率最高的例子,相信這樣的設計,可以讓OLED產品的提升到更高的層次及加速OLED的商業化腳步。 The present invention discloses a phosphorescent tris-chelated transition metal complex comprising i) two identical carbon-nitrogen (C^N) or nitrogen-nitrogen (N^N) chromophoric ligands being incorporated into a coordination sphere thereof with a transition metal, and one carbon-phosphorus (C^P) chelate being incorporated into the coordination sphere; or ii) one carbon-nitrogen (C^N) or nitrogen-nitrogen (N^N) chromophoric ligands forming a coordination sphere thereof with a transition metal, and two identical carbon-phosphorus (C^P) chelates being incorporated into the coordination sphere, wherein the metal is iridium, platinum, osmium or ruthenium, and the chromophoric ligands possesses a relatively lower energy gap in comparison with that of the non-chromophoric chelate,so that bright phosphorescence can be observed. The architecture of the present molecular designs are suitable for generation of high efficiency blue, green and even red emissions.
