技術說明

揭示之發明乃針對動態可重組異質處理器系統提供一個平衡負載及動態配置的方法，其採用一工作控制邏輯單元以動態配置可動態重組的異質處理器來協助各個微處理器執行運作，並因而達成平衡每一微處理器之負載的目的。其並具有系統硬體面積及耗能均極少之優勢。此具有極大成本效益之系統能以高效能執行運算。此系統具有高設計相容性，可應用於IC 線路及微處理器中。此系統包含多個微處理器，至少一個動態可重組異質處理器，以及一個工作控制邏輯單元。動態可重組異質處理器附屬於各微處理器，工作控制邏輯單元則附屬於動態可重組異質處理器及各微處理器。 The present invention provides a dynamic reconfigurable heterogeneous processor system with load balancing and a dynamic allocating method thereof, which adopts a work control logic unit to dynamically allocate a dynamic reconfigurable heterogeneous processor to assist microprocessors in executing operations, whereby the purpose of balancing the work proportion of each microprocessor is achieved. The hardware area and the energy loss of the system are minimal. And the system of the greatest cost benefit is capable of performing operation with high efficiency. The system comprises a plurality of microprocessors, at least one dynamic reconfigurable heterogeneous processor, and a work control logic unit, wherein the dynamic reconfigurable heterogeneous processor is coupled to the microprocessors and the work control logic unit is coupled to the microprocessors and the dynamic reconfigurable heterogeneous processor.
