金屬玻璃及金屬玻璃合金鍍膜切割器具銳度提升的方法

目前市面上手術刀大部份是以麻田散鐵型不鏽鋼所製成,其主要的特點為取得便利、易於製造且成本低廉,因此被大量使用於醫用手術刀具與器械。藉切削橡皮,比較金屬玻璃鍍膜手術刀商用不鏽鋼手術刀片,計算刀刃與橡皮間各工作階段作用力藉以比較商用、非晶質鍍膜手術刀之銳利度。在金屬玻璃鍍膜手術刀方面,鋯基與鋯銅基金屬玻璃鍍膜手術刀其刀具銳度指標分別為0.26和0.24,銳度提升比率為25.7%與31%,可知非晶質金屬鍍膜手術刀,其銳度皆較未鍍膜之商用手術刀佳,其中鋯銅基鍍膜在銳度提升方面之表現最為優異。因此,濺鍍金屬玻璃薄膜之手術刀能夠具有和商用手術刀相同或更佳的切削能力,是一理想的醫用切割器具材料。 Amorphous alloy has good mechanical properties and good corrosion resistance also an ideal material for bio-medical implant or surgical instruments. Moreover, amorphous alloy has been reported that it has long term anti-bacterial properties recently, this character can be a benefit for amorphous alloy as surgical instrument. To compare the sharpness of commercial and amorphous thin film coated surgical blade we cut a rubber with two blades and carefully measure several specific digits while a blade cut though the rubber to calculate the blade sharpness index(BSI) then evaluate their cutting abilities. A stainless steel surgical blade coated amorphous alloy thin film reduces its surface roughness and friction force which provide an even margin accelerate healing process. Blade sharpness index of coated blade is 30% better than commercial one which implies coated blade can be an ideal cutting instrument.
