使用液晶型薩爾瓦稜鏡的差分干涉對比顯微鏡

An innovative differential interference contrast microscope (DICM) is proposed in this research. It is the same as a signal-shot phase-shifting polarizing microscope except for having a novel liquid-crystal (LC) Savart prism inserted in between the objective and sample, with a characteristic of switching shear directions by adjusting the driving voltages of the LC Savart prism, and capable of retrieving images with contour variation information. This paper is to introduce the configuration, examination theory, and experimental setup of the DICM; it also exhibits and discusses the experimental results from the uses of the setup; the results confirm the characteristic and capability of the proposed DICM.
