技術說明

本發明提供了一種吞嚥功能之檢測喉帶裝置，包括：一喉帶、一傳導層以及一感測器。該喉帶係用以鄰靠一待測體之咽喉部位。該傳導層係為一軟性材質，設置於該喉帶上。該感測器係為一薄膜型壓力感測器(Force Sensing Resistor)，透過一固定單元固定於該傳導層上。該感測器量測該待測體吞嚥時咽喉軟骨作動變化情形，並透過一公式轉換為一施力數值。本創作藉由傳導層提供傳導媒介，改善薄膜型壓力感測器偵測吞嚥功能訊號較不明顯的缺點，進而達到檢測吞嚥功能的效果。 Our research in this project, on the other hand, will develop a portable and non-invasive swallowing and espiration assessment system. We will use this system to detect the coordination between breathing and wallowing.Also, we will record the signals of the submandibular muscle surface EMG, the movement of the thyroid cartilage and the respiratory status of the nasal cavity to identify the special events during the whole swallowing process. In addition, our program will not only automatically analyze the whole process of each swallowing duration, but also calculate the latency,excursion and jitter time of the thyroid cartilage when it acts. Finally, we will use our approach to compare the differences between smokers and non-smokers to verify the significance of the good coordination between breathing and swallowing.
