技術說明

本專利提出一個具有3倍輸入電壓之輸出電壓的閘極驅動器電路，此種閘極驅動器電路能降低MOSFET或IGBT開關於進行切換運作時之切換損失及導通損失，使得整個系統之效率得以進一步提升。因此可降低整個複雜系統所須之電源數目，進一步降低整個系統所須使用之空間。由於近年來3C產業日益蓬勃發展，其所須之供電電源之小型化乃當務之急，因此所提之具有3倍輸入電壓之輸出電壓的閘極驅動器電路非常適合用於切換電源供應器之MOSFET或IGBT開關之驅動。 This patent presents a gate driver, which has the output voltage with triple input voltage under only one positive-voltage source fed. Such a gate driver can reduce the number of voltage sources, and hence the size of the overall system is compact. From the point of view of power loss, this gate driver can reduce the transient period of the gate of the n-channel MOSFET power switch and hence decreases the switching loss, whereas such a gate driver can reduce the turn-on resistance of the n-channel MOSFET power switch and hence decreases the conduction loss.
